Chest Tracking in a Clan – Why It Matters

In any well-organized clan, chest tracking plays a crucial role. It promotes a sense of fairness and accountability, especially when some members tend to neglect their daily responsibilities.

Typically, clans set minimum participation standards—usually around 20%—for normal, rare, and epic crypts, as well as citadels. Heroics and chests earned through participation in Ancient events are also included in the count.

To manage and monitor all of this, there are various tools and programs available. These generate weekly leaderboards showing each player’s contributions. Most of these tools use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to identify clan members and then track their in-game activity automatically.

Over time, I’ve tested many of these tools—some free, some paid; some that run locally, and others hosted on remote servers. The key for me has always been finding a solution that delivers the stats I need quickly, accurately, and in a user-friendly way.

The tool I currently use is from https://total-battle-assistant.com. I run it on a Windows 10 machine using a secondary account in my clan. It generates the stats, which I then publish via Google Drive here: https://tb.ezhellas.com/reports

The program is reasonably priced, the support is excellent, and the setup is straightforward. The only thing you need to do is log in every 18 hours, run the stat update, and you’re done.
