A big problem in the attacks against Tin Man is that too many people wait for him to turn “red,” which means less resilient, before they attack.
That poses the risk of not managing to kill him in time, resulting in many members spending silver and gold but ending up with nothing.
Another issue is ignorance — members attacking with captains that have no bonus. Specifically for Tin Man, only Cleopatra, Beowulf, and Hercules provide bonuses.
No one else.
So what does a clan do when they see a member attacking with Carter and flip-flops?
One trick I learned in the HCE clan, with the amazing leader Lady Meginan, was to close all the portals in the area.
The superior places Tin Man in a location accessible to everyone, and without portals, you can easily see who’s attacking from the beginning and who’s using the wrong captain.
In fact, in 2PL, where I am now, the leader imposes penalties on members who go in with the wrong captain.
Because it’s one thing to have 1 billion might and want to upgrade your Carter, and another thing to go up against Tin Man in flip-flops out of ignorance.
